Venue Spotlight | Lakeview Pavilion

The Venue Spotlight Series

Over the past few years we’ve photographed a lot of wedding venues. Like, a lot of venues. We thought that we’d bring something a little different to the blog to highlight some of these wonderful spaces. In the coming months, we’ll feature some helpful information and beautiful photos and videos of wedding venues around Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut that you are going to absolutely love. So, without further ado, here’s the next edition of our venue spotlight series: Lakeview Pavilion!

Spotlight: Lakeview Pavilion

Many couples look for a venue that they can really make their own, with specific colors and ideas that they’d like to implement. Some venues already have an established color scheme and style, putting limitations on what decor works inside it. Lakeview Pavilion is an absolutely elegant space that lends itself to the design that fits your personality. With polished floors, sleek white walls, and crystal light fixtures, the space absolutely sings on it’s own, while still allowing you to infuse your own style.

The property can accommodate large or small weddings. There are a number of ceremony options: the gazebo, indoors, or on the patio. Or, you can choose to book your ceremony off the property. There is complete flexibility based on your needs! It’s awesome. On top of that, the building sits right along a lovely pond, which, along with the surrounding woods, make for some great photo locations. The staff are absolutely meticulous, making sure your wedding goes off without a hitch.

The location: Foxboro, MA, not too far from Patriot Place. It’s far enough from the stadium that you won’t have trouble with traffic if there’s a football game, but close enough that there are great hotels for your out-of-town guests. It’s easy to find and parking is plentiful, making it a super convenient location for all of your friends and loved ones.

Long story shot: Lakeview Pavilion should be on your list of venues to check out. If you to, be sure to tell the staff that we sent you!

Chiara and James | The Chanler Wedding

It’s Friday, everyone! We are excited for the weekend, and we hope you are too! To sweep you into a beautiful weekend, we wanted to share a beautiful wedding. You’re going to love this one. Chiara and James married last fall at The Chanler at Cliffwalk. If this sweet and kind couple doesn’t get you smiling, their lovely, thoughtful wedding details surely will. Emily and Kearsten spent the day with the happy couple to photograph it all. Without further ado, here’s the details!

The Chanler at Cliffwalk Wedding

Chiara spent the morning preparing for the big day at the Marshall Slocoum Inn in Newport. After all the preparations were complete, Chiara and James chose to sneak in a first look before the ceremony. James’ anticipation to see his gorgeous bride was so sweet. After seeing each other, the smiled didn’t stop all day. It was a truly joyous occasion for the happy pair.

The weather cooperated perfectly for the seaside ceremony. The honorable Frank Camera officiated; Chaira and James were officially wed! The sweet celebration was decked out in blush and cranberry tones. The perfect autumn colors… so pretty! Chiara and James, we are simply grateful to have been a part of such a sweet celebration. Thank you for inviting us to be a part of it all. We wish you a long and happy marriage!

Samantha and Brian | The Towers Wedding

Samantha and Brian | The Narragansett Towers Wedding

Happy day, everyone! Today, we are highlighting Samantha and Brian’s lovely Narragansett Towers wedding. Emily and Brian spent the day with Samantha and Brian to capture every moment. Check out Samantha and Brian’s beautiful wedding below.

The Wedding Day

Samantha spent the morning having fun and getting ready with her amazing family and bridesmaids at The Tower House Bed and Breakfast. The bridesmaids chose their own dresses and they did a beautiful job, accenting each other perfectly. After all of the hair, makeup and preparation, it was time for the ceremony. The South County Museum hosted the sweet nuptials. This whimsical outdoor ceremony brought tears to so many eyes… including the bride! After sealing their love with a kiss it was time for a photo session at Bass Rock in Narragansett.

After the photos, the couple was ready to party and headed over to Narragansett Towers to celebrate. The venue was beautifully decorated with greenery, string lights and unique centerpieces. Rather than choosing a traditional wedding cake this couple went all out Rhode Island and chose to have an Allies Donut cake instead! How fun is that? The night finished off with lots of dancing and a whole lot of fun.

Thank you, Samantha and Brian for choosing us to be a part of your special day we wish you lots of love and laughter in your marriage! Definitely be sure to check out the photo highlights from this wedding below!

Sheena and Tommy | Lakeview Pavilion Wedding

Sometimes we get to bring a full team out to a wedding. When we do, it’s totally awesome. Sheena and Tommy married at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, followed by a celebration at Lakeview Pavilion. They are a lovely couple, and it was a stunningly beautiful wedding. Emily and Kearsten photographed the wedding, Dan filmed, and Caleb handled both the Bluecube and uplighting.

The Wedding Day

Sheena spent a morning getting ready with her best ladies. These girls really knew how to make the morning fun for this sweet bride. After a ride in an antique car (Cool!) to the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, it was time to get married. We can think of a grander, more lovely church than the Cathedral. It was a beautiful ceremony in a beautiful place. The knot was officially tied!

Lakeview Pavilion

After a photo session with the rockstar wedding party, the time to celebrate had come! Lakeview Pavilion provided the perfect setting for the reception. The sleek and modern space is the perfect palate to create a dream wedding. And that’s just what Sheena and Tmmy did. With stunning tall centerpieces, and a bit of blush pink uplighting to bring in some color, the space looked simply stunning.

It was a perfect celebration for a wonderful couple. Sheena and Tommy, congratulations to the two of you on an awesome wedding. Lots of love from the whole team.

Lauren and Jason | Popponsset Inn Wedding

Welcome back! Today we’re taking a break from all the photos and bringing you an awesome wedding video. Lauren and Jason tied the knot last September by the sea at the Popponsset Inn, in Mashpee, MA. It was a beautiful day and we were luck to be a part of it all! Nate and Caleb hung out with the couple for the day to capture all the moments.

The Wedding Day!

Lauren spent the morning prepping with family and dear friends. Before making everything official, the couple snuck in a first look at Popponsset beach. First looks are always an awesome moment to be a part of. After some sweet kisses, and a few photos, it was time for the ceremony! This particular ceremony was really special because it was officiated by the grandfather of the bride. How great is that?

After the “I do’s,” it was time to party. And this fun couple did just that. Surrounded by dear loved ones, Lauren and Jason danced the night away. Thanks for choosing us to be a part of your day. We had a blast and we wish you many more wonderful years in wedded bliss. Be sure to check out Lauren & Jason’s wedding video below!

Liz and Alex | Newport Beach House Wedding

Happy Friday, friends!! Today, we’ve got a real treat for you. Liz and Alex were married last September on an unbelievably gorgeous day. Emily and Fred took some awesome photos. Check out Liz and Alex’s Newport Beach House Wedding below!

The Wedding Day

Liz spent the beautiful morning getting ready with her family and sweet bridesmaids. There were smiles and laughter all morning. We just love a happy wedding party! After prepping, the trolley came to whisk everyone away to the ceremony! With a few more photos snapped, Liz was ready to walk down the aisle at St. Mary’s Parish in Bristol. The beautiful ceremony brought tears to a few eyes. After sealing the “I do’s” with a kiss, it was time for a photo session.

Liz and Alex decided to stop for a shot on the iconic red, white, and blue stripe on the street in Bristol. It was totally worth stopping traffic for! Following that, we all headed down to Ocean Drive and Brenton Point State Park for photos with the whole wedding party. The sun was shining, and the wedding party seemed to glow with the light reflecting off the water. Gorgeous! With the photos all wrapped up, the newlyweds lead the party over to the Newport Beach House for a celebration worthy of their union.

Liz and Alex, we had so much fun spending the wedding day with you. Thanks for letting us be a part of it all. Congratulations to the two of you! We wish you many happy years of marriage. Be sure to check out the photo highlights from this Newport Beach House Wedding below!

Alex and Adam | Treehouse Tavern Wedding

Anyone who has planned a wedding know that it can be a bit stressful. Some couples decide to skip the pomp and circumstance and plan a thoughtful, intimate affair. And that’s just what Alex and Adam did! Matt was able to join this cool couple for their fantastic Treehouse Tavern Wedding to photograph every awesome detail.

The Wedding Day!

Alex spent the morning getting ready with a little help from our friend, Jaclynn Kate! After dolling up, it was time to head off for a sunset ceremony. The two exchanged vows with their dearest loved ones surrounding them as their witnesses. After sealing it all with a kiss, the couple stopped for a few pictures before the celebration. The Woodshed, an outdoor event space at The Treehouse Tavern, was a magical setting for the party. The Flower Pot provided colorful, charming florals, and the space was expertly decorated by the mother or the bride! Totally awesome.

Thanks and congratulations to you, Alex and Adam. It was awesome to spend time with you. Be sure to check out all the photo highlights from this Treehouse Tavern wedding below!

Kelsey and Rory | Castle Hill Inn Wedding

There is just something about a New England seaside wedding that we just can’t get enough of. Early fall brings a whole new level of romance to the rocky coast of Newport. Mix that with a sunny day with perfect, fluffy clouds, and you’ve got a recipe for wedding magic. Kelsey and Rory had such a day in September of 2016. Dan filmed the happy couple and Matt brought our favorite toy: the drone! Without further a do, check out Kelsey and Rory’s wedding at Castle Hill Inn below!

The Wedding Day!

Kelsey started the wedding day off primping and preparing in one of the beautiful rooms at Castle Hill Inn. Kelsey chose and amazing illusion neckline and topped the look off with flowers in her hair. What a stunning bride! Before heading off the ceremony, the lovebirds took some time for a first look and intimate photo session by the lighthouse. The joy and excitement to see each other was absolutely contagious. They kept right on beaming through the sweet ceremony at Jesus Saviour Church. After greeting happy guests outside the church, everyone headed back to Castle Hill Inn to celebrate the newlyweds!

The reception tent was decked out in popcorn lights, and the most beautiful greenery arrangements. After the formalities, and an awesome meal, everyone was ready for a party! The happy couple and their guests danced the night away. We are so thrilled to have been a part of such a wonderful day. Thanks so much for choosing us to be a part of your wedding story, Kelsey and Rory! Many happy years together to the two of you. Be sure to check out their highlight film below!

Angie and David | Providence G Wedding

Happy Friday, friends! Today, we’ve got a wedding that has it all! A dreamy, foliage-filled ceremony, a glamorous, modern reception, and, of course, a stunning bride. Join us as we take a peek at Angie and David’s Providence G Wedding! Nate provided cinematography and Abby was the reception uplighting specialist.

Bridal Prep and The Ceremony

Our gorgeous bride spent a fun morning at home getting ready with her nearest and dearest. Dania from Positive Beauty Salon styled the bride’s hair, and Nakala took care of the makeup. After glamming up, Angie slipped into her amazing Maggie Sottero gown from Kleinfeld Bridal. With a glowing bride and a few stunning bridesmaids in tow, everyone was ready for the big moment… The ceremony! The Botanical Gardens at Roger Williams Park was the perfect setting for it. David waited patiently at the altar while Angie seemed to float down the aisle. Angie’s brother officiated the ceremony. How sweet is that? The newly weds stopped for a few pictures at the RI Statehouse before heading over to the Providence G to celebrate.

The Reception

Before the party in the ballroom, the guest enjoyed cocktails on the rooftop at the Providence G. The weather was perfect for enjoying the view of downtown. After cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, everyone headed down to the ballroom. The room was decked out in the most gorgeous florals from our friends at Golden Gate Studios. After a first dance, the couple sat down to an amazing meal from the incomparable Russell Morin Fine Catering. Following the meal was cake from LaSalle Bakery… both gorgeous and delicious! After dinner, the happy couple danced the night away!

Thanks for choosing us to be a part of your wedding story, Angie and David. It’s a real honor. You can check out photos from this lovely day from Sabrina Scolari. Angie also shared some of her wedding planning experiences and advices on the blog over at Rhode Island Monthly! Check out one of her posts here: Aisle Say: Angie.
