Mallory and Brent | The Towers Wedding

Sometimes rain can be a four letter word in the world of weddings. Rain can make a wedding day memorable and utterly romantic, even if you do get a little wet. It’s worth it! Not to mention the great photographs you can get with a little rain! Mallory and Brent married last fall in the sweetest ceremony. Emily and Kearsten teamed up to photograph the couple and Caleb brought the Bluecube. You’re going to love the photos and details from this Narragansett Towers wedding. Check out all the details below!

The Narragansett Towers Wedding

Mallory spent the morning getting ready with her nearest and dearest at Aqua Blue in Narragansett. The bridesmaids wore the most lovely shade of plum, which set off the rose-y pinks and ivories in bouquets. They couldn’t have looked lovelier! The ceremony took place at the gorgeous South County museum under the cover of umbrellas. They say that rain on a wedding is a sign of blessing, so we know this couple is extra blessed!

The ceremony was full to overflowing with smiles and laughter. After the vows were sealed with a kiss, the rain let up for a little while! This provided the perfect opportunity to get some photos overlooking the water at Bass Rock. Following the photo session, was a joyous reception at The Narragansett Towers. Mallory and Brent, congratulations! We loved every minute of the wedding day. From the whole Blueflash team, we wish you a long and successful marriage. Be sure to check out all the photos below!

Kelly and John | New Hampshire Engagement

Hey, Blueflash family! Thanks for visiting the blog! Today, we’ve got an engagement session that you will absolutely love. Kelly and John invited us up to their family’s property in New Hampshire for an epic engagement session last autumn. The changing foliage and breathtaking views (not to mention a cute couple) made for an epic session. Emily had the pleasure of photographing these two.

New Hampshire Engagement Session

Some couples find it difficult to choose an engagement session location, but not Kelly and John. This location in New Hampshire had it all. Between the lake, the foliage, and the chemisty between the couple, we had an easy time snapping awesome photos. Kelly shared a bit about the couple’s story with us:

John and I went to Bentley University together, we lived on the same floor freshman year. We were friends the first three years of college, then started dating the summer before our senior year. Since we were such good friends already, our first date was actually John visiting me in New York City for July 4th weekend – quite the long first date! The majority of our bridal party are actually Bentley alumni as well, whom we’ve been close friends with since all the way back to freshman year in 2007.

Kelly and John were married this past September at the stunning Rosecliff Mansion in Newport. We’ll be bringing you highlights from the wedding soon. Stay tuned! To Kelly and John, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your story. You’ve been incredibly kind, and it’s been a joy to photograph you!

Chiara and James | The Chanler Wedding

It’s Friday, everyone! We are excited for the weekend, and we hope you are too! To sweep you into a beautiful weekend, we wanted to share a beautiful wedding. You’re going to love this one. Chiara and James married last fall at The Chanler at Cliffwalk. If this sweet and kind couple doesn’t get you smiling, their lovely, thoughtful wedding details surely will. Emily and Kearsten spent the day with the happy couple to photograph it all. Without further ado, here’s the details!

The Chanler at Cliffwalk Wedding

Chiara spent the morning preparing for the big day at the Marshall Slocoum Inn in Newport. After all the preparations were complete, Chiara and James chose to sneak in a first look before the ceremony. James’ anticipation to see his gorgeous bride was so sweet. After seeing each other, the smiled didn’t stop all day. It was a truly joyous occasion for the happy pair.

The weather cooperated perfectly for the seaside ceremony. The honorable Frank Camera officiated; Chaira and James were officially wed! The sweet celebration was decked out in blush and cranberry tones. The perfect autumn colors… so pretty! Chiara and James, we are simply grateful to have been a part of such a sweet celebration. Thank you for inviting us to be a part of it all. We wish you a long and happy marriage!

Lesley & Ralph | Aldrich Mansion Wedding Video

There are some venues that we get to visit a number of times every wedding season. Aldrich Mansion is one of those spots, and it’s an absolute joy. Lesley & Ralph chose this classic and romantic spot to celebrate their union last autumn. Nate stopped by to capture all the beautiful moments on film. Be sure to check out their highlight film below!

After a beautiful mass, our bride and groom were officially man and wife! With celebration in order, every headed over to Aldrich for a perfect meal and a party for the books.

Samantha and Brian | The Towers Wedding

Samantha and Brian | The Narragansett Towers Wedding

Happy day, everyone! Today, we are highlighting Samantha and Brian’s lovely Narragansett Towers wedding. Emily and Brian spent the day with Samantha and Brian to capture every moment. Check out Samantha and Brian’s beautiful wedding below.

The Wedding Day

Samantha spent the morning having fun and getting ready with her amazing family and bridesmaids at The Tower House Bed and Breakfast. The bridesmaids chose their own dresses and they did a beautiful job, accenting each other perfectly. After all of the hair, makeup and preparation, it was time for the ceremony. The South County Museum hosted the sweet nuptials. This whimsical outdoor ceremony brought tears to so many eyes… including the bride! After sealing their love with a kiss it was time for a photo session at Bass Rock in Narragansett.

After the photos, the couple was ready to party and headed over to Narragansett Towers to celebrate. The venue was beautifully decorated with greenery, string lights and unique centerpieces. Rather than choosing a traditional wedding cake this couple went all out Rhode Island and chose to have an Allies Donut cake instead! How fun is that? The night finished off with lots of dancing and a whole lot of fun.

Thank you, Samantha and Brian for choosing us to be a part of your special day we wish you lots of love and laughter in your marriage! Definitely be sure to check out the photo highlights from this wedding below!

Alex and Adam | Treehouse Tavern Wedding

Anyone who has planned a wedding know that it can be a bit stressful. Some couples decide to skip the pomp and circumstance and plan a thoughtful, intimate affair. And that’s just what Alex and Adam did! Matt was able to join this cool couple for their fantastic Treehouse Tavern Wedding to photograph every awesome detail.

The Wedding Day!

Alex spent the morning getting ready with a little help from our friend, Jaclynn Kate! After dolling up, it was time to head off for a sunset ceremony. The two exchanged vows with their dearest loved ones surrounding them as their witnesses. After sealing it all with a kiss, the couple stopped for a few pictures before the celebration. The Woodshed, an outdoor event space at The Treehouse Tavern, was a magical setting for the party. The Flower Pot provided colorful, charming florals, and the space was expertly decorated by the mother or the bride! Totally awesome.

Thanks and congratulations to you, Alex and Adam. It was awesome to spend time with you. Be sure to check out all the photo highlights from this Treehouse Tavern wedding below!

Emily and Tim | Anniversary Session

Here is a sneak peek at Emily and Tim’s anniversary session with Matt!

Matt met up with Emily and Tim at a horse farm in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, to celebrate their anniversary! Emily got back into her wedding dress, traded in a pair of heels for riding boots, and saddled a horse along side Tim to see the country side of North Attleboro. We traveled along the farm enjoying the beautiful autumn day, with a crisp air and the trees all shades of colors. It was a perfect New England Day!

Thanks for letting us celebrate with you Emily and Tim! Check out the highlights from their anniversary shoot below!

Plugovoy Family | Family Shoot

As life goes on, you realize that there really isn’t much that’s more important than family. With a family of my own now, I can see how fast the time flies. Whether you take family photos on a cell phone, have a friend take them with a good camera, or hire a professional (obviously the best option, but we’re biased), make an effort to document your growing family regularly throughout the years.

OK, enough said on that. Below you’ll find some highlights from a family session of some friends of ours, the Plugovoys. Pasha is a photographer himself but it’s really hard to take a selfie with your wife and two kids, hence where we come in. Enjoy some photos from their session!
