REGATTA PLACE NEWPORT WEDDING
Ashley and Richard had a beautiful Regatta Place Wedding in Newport, RI. Nothing beats a ceremony and reception right at the water’s edge. Surrounded by family and friends, Ashley and Richard exchanged their vows in a sweet ceremony and then danced the night away in an epic dance party led by The Smoking Jackets band. BRIDAL PREP
Ashley and her bridesmaids prepared for the day in one of the Wedding suites at Gurney’s resort. Champagne toasts, laughter and hairspray filled the room. Once every hair was in place, the girls headed outside for their formal photos on the lawn, with the Newport bridge as a backdrop. Joined by their groomsmen, we quickly ran through their portraits and then headed off down the street to Regatta place.
I DO, ME TOO
Guest filled the ceremony tent at Regatta place, Richard took his place at the front of the alter and anxiously waited for Ashley’s entrance. When the wood screens were rolled back, there stood Ashley with her dad in a stunning gown with an intricately beaded bodice and long flowing skirt. She truly looked like a princess. Holding hands, the couple exchanged their vows and sealed their marriage with a sweet kiss.
LET’S DANCE
It was important to Ashley and Richard to be with their guests as much as possible, so they mingled throughout the cocktail hour taking selfies and enjoying the company of their guests. Soon thereafter guests were invited into the Reception tent at Regatta Place that was set to perfection. Soft neutral colors were carried throughout the table displays and centerpieces, leaving the gorgeous backdrop of Newport Harbor to speak for itself. As the sun set on the horizon, the dance floor filled up with wild dance moves and so much love. The epic dance party lasted into the wee hours of the morning with The Smoking Jackets band keeping everyone hopping!
