It’s that time of the year again… Lots of weddings, engagement sessions, editing, meetings, and all of that good stuff. The same thing suffers every time – the blog! Here we go, though, we’re going to attempt to work through the backlog that we’ve accumulated. Hold us to it!
Reaching back into the vault of unblogged sessions, we come up with Chris and Andrea’s Newport engagement shoot. Since we’ll be photographing the wedding in a couple months, I figured it would be good to blog about their engagement session before that happens.
I met these two down on Goat Island and we worked our way around some areas before moving back out onto ‘mainland’ Newport. We had an awesome (and bright) day walking around downtown and taking photos along the way. I love hanging out with people at the engagement sessions and talking about the upcoming wedding. I’m really excited about theirs – it will be the first Greek Orthodox wedding that we get to be a part of. Should prove to be a really cool experience.
They told me afterwards that they feel so much better about the wedding now that they’ve had the engagement session and got used to the process. Perfect. That’s one of the many reasons engagement sessions are so important!
Enjoy the photos, can’t wait for the wedding at the Providence Public Library!
