Christina and Shea | The White Barn at South Farms Wedding Video
Christina and Shea had a perfect modern rustic wedding day at the White Barn at South Farms in Connecticut. They wrote their own vows to each other, practicing before the ceremony, hidden behind a door to not spoil the first look. Tear filled, they both drew on each other for support, holding hands behind the barn door. These two have an amazing love for each other that was so special to be able to capture through cinematography.
Christina gifted Shea a tie just before the ceremony with their favorite Bruce Springsteen quote embroidered on the back:
“If you’re rough enough for love, Honey, I’m tougher than the rest.”
Modern Vibes in a Country Setting
Their ceremony was held on the beautiful lawn of South Farms overlooking the White Barn. With sweeping New England views and smells of fresh cut grass and wildflowers guests gathered awaiting Christina’s entrance. The couple were joined together under a circular arch of flowers and greenery with the warm August sun lighting up their faces. The bridal party was dressed in varying shades of blue, with the ladies in various shades of dusty to navy blue and the groomsmen in a deep navy. Christina wore a sleek, modern cut white wedding gown and Shea matched his men in navy blue.
The reception in the barn was dotted with metallics and wood paired with geometric shapes and greenery spilling everywhere, bringing in the modern touches that Christina loves so much. It was the perfect compliment to the chic rustic setting of South Farms.
