OceanCliff Wedding
Gena and Ricky had a gorgeous wedding at good ole OceanCliff- is there any place more faithfully lovely? Their August day was warm and sunny, golden light speckling the greenery. Giant billowing clouds hovered over the sea, making life feel grand, while white sailboats sat like brushstrokes on the water.
The royal room where the girls were getting ready was brimming with the same lively energy. Upon meeting Gena, I realized that every one of her gorgeous smiles would be breaking into laughter for the rest of the day. There is nothing more exciting to photograph.
Gena was a real life queen, in personality and in that dress, and Ricky was the gentlest soul. It was so sweet to watch their spirits merge in perfect complement under the arch for the first look. We did our best to capture their love, but they did us all the favors by enjoying each other blissfully every moment. They made the day so fun.
Their ceremony was on the lawn, in perfect summer light. The aisle and ballroom were decorated in intense coral, pink and orange florals to match the heat of the season and the vibrancy of the couple. Everything about Gena and Ricky’s wedding was bright. Their season, colors, faces. We basked in their light all day and night and count it a privilege to have captured the glow.
