Happy New Year! 2013 is here and we are itching to go. We’re ready to make a bigger dent in the Rhode Island wedding photography scene this year. Like I mentioned yesterday, we just officially launched our brandy new website. Along with the new website comes our new logo and tag line, which quietly made its debut a couple months ago. I love it. I feel like it’s the perfect feel for Blueflash. Here it is:
I have to give credit to my wife for thinking of the tagline. After a few failures of my own (“So cool”, “Photos for life”, “Awesome photos for awesome people”), it feels great to finally have one that I want to keep. Oh man, and the website! Finally a website that I can believe in! The last one never felt right. I hope you like the new site half as much as I do. There are significant changes under the hood that I’d like to point out:
We’re a team
Blueflash started out as me, Matt Celeste, trying to wear every hat in the company. Gone are those days. I believe that the only way a company can grow and continue to improve its offering to brides and grooms is to bring more talent on board. I’m proud to say I’ve got some awesome people working alongside me now. Go over to the About page to read about each one of them. Jaclyn and Amanda have joined as photographers, Andrew as the Bluecube guy, and my wife Tara as the all-things-behind-the-scenes person. Tara’s really always been that, but now my secret is out in the open.
We’re focused
We are a high-end full-service wedding photography studio. We don’t specialize in newborn, children, family, maternity, parties, corporate, lifestyle, commercial, pets, landscape, and food photography. Why not? Because when you specialize in everything, you specialize in nothing. We are focused on weddings. They are some of the most challenging shooting environments, but also the most rewarding. That’s where we are, and that’s where we want to be.
We’re personal
We have a huge emphasis on building a relationship with the people we work with. As wedding photographers, the job entails more than booking through an email, showing up at your wedding and taking pictures, then sending you a CD in the mail. That’s not what we’re about. Right from the beginning we want to meet you, get to know you and what you love, and tailor an experience that suits you best.
We’re serious
There’s no more messing around. Our packages are all-inclusive. An album, two photographers, and an engagement session are standard in every one of them. They are integral to having the right wedding experience, so why should we offer anything that doesn’t include them? No more. Full service means everything is included, everything is taken care of.
Looking forward to 2013.
