Hotel Viking Wedding | Newport, Rhode Island
You could not help but smiling along with Sarah and Alec on their perfect Hotel Viking Newport Wedding day. An elegant New England affair at the Hotel Viking. Sarah in her gorgeous off the shoulder lace gown and Alec in a sharp, charcoal grey suit. Moreover, these two were such a joy to be around, with their light and love for each other shining through every moment.
The Proposal

… We had a planned weekend getaway in Kennebunkport, Maine. Alec had many things planned for the day, including a carriage ride through the woods in the snow, ending with the proposal on the beach at sunset. However, due to typical New England weather, and Sarah’s ability to chat with strangers for longer than necessary, none of his plans worked out. Determined to pop the question, he proposed in our hotel room with champagne and strawberries. It wasn’t what he had in mind, but it was absolutely perfect.
The Details
Sarah has a keen eye for all of the little details. Their wedding day was full to the brim of personal touches and little accents that carried their personalities throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. There were even cute vintage suitcases for gifts and one that held soft fleece blankets for guests to cuddle under while out on the patio at Hotel Viking. Touches of gold, navy blue and burgundy were seen throughout. It was truly a well orchestrated and beautifully decorated event.
