If you follow along on the blog you should most definitely know Steph by now. You probably know Bryan and Emmett as well. These are some good people and some good friends of ours. Steph is the talent behind Stephanie Mills Photography (http://www.spmillsphotography.com). Once or twice a year we do a quick family session photo exchange with each other.
This one happened to be on an insanely cold and windy December morning. This session lasted about five minutes. Sometimes that’s all you need. We met up at Meshanticut Lake in Cranston since we’re both Cranstonites and true to our Cranston nature we don’t like to drive very far for anything.
I had never shot at Meshanticut before and was pleasantly surprised. The light was pretty sweet since we did it (relatively) early in the morning. Emmett was a bit more cooperative than the kids on our half of the session, though I won’t mention any names (read: Ezra). All’s well that ends well though. We were glad to get a few pictures of our little family and I was happy to get Steph, Bryan, and Emmett some pictures of theirs. Check some out below.
