The Venue Spotlight Series
Over the past few years we’ve photographed a lot of wedding venues. Like, a lot of venues. We thought that we’d bring something a little different to the blog to highlight some of these wonderful spaces. In the coming months, we’ll feature some helpful information and beautiful photos and videos of wedding venues around Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut that you are going to absolutely love. So, without further ado, here’s the next edition of our venue spotlight series: Mount Hope Farm!
Mount Hope Farm
Mount Hope Farm is truly a jewel of the East Bay. It’s a historic country estate set right on the Narragansett Bay with unbeatable views of the Mount Hope Bridge. There’s so much on this property to see – the working farm complete with goats and chickens, a stunning flower cutting garden, and miles of trails through the picturesque woods. On top of all of that, there’s not one, but two amazing location choices to hold your wedding or event. The first is the barn. It’s rustic and has an enormous working stone fireplace. Cozy and perfect. The second location is the Cove Cabin. The cabin is set deeper on the property and overlooks the lovely Mount Hope Bridge. If you’re looking for that New England seaside charm, with some rustic character, look no further.
Another unbeatable feature of this property is the accessibility. There’s a charming year round farmer’s market in the barn if you want to check it out with out committing to a full tour. The trails are also open to the public and are pet-friendly. It’s also an unbeatable spot if you’re just looking for an awesome engagement session location. Did we mention the location? It’s just minutes from the conveniences and charm of downtown Bristol. There’s a number of lovely churches to host a ceremony nearby. Bristol’s bustling small business scene also makes it a great spot for accommodations for your out-of-town guests or to find a salon with a bridal suite.
