The Venue Spotlight Series
Over the past few years we’ve photographed a lot of wedding venues. Like, a lot of venues. We thought that we’d bring something a little different to the blog to highlight some of these wonderful spaces. In the coming months, we’ll feature some helpful information and beautiful photos and videos of wedding venues around Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut that you are going to absolutely love. So, without further ado, here’s the next edition of our venue spotlight series: The Bohlin!
Weddings at The Bohlin
The Bohlin, located at the Newport Yachting Center, is the seaside wedding location that you’ve been looking for. The nautical vibes are real here. First off, the seaside ceremony location has to-die for sunsets. Schooners and other boats are visible, giving a nod to the truly nautical heritage of this Newport hotspot. If that wasn’t enough, the Sperry tent used for the reception is modern, elegant, and absolutely perfect. THe hardwoods of the tent frame add just a touch of rustic richness to round out the perfect setting. It’s the perfect spot to infuse your own design personality or to just let the beauty of the location sing.
On top of all that goodness, The Bohlin is convenient to a ton of classic Newport accommodations. This makes the travel easy for you and your guests. The photo opportunities on the docks along are more than enough to make this a top choice, but it’s also convenient to a number of lovely photo hot spots. The options are limitless. Additionally, the food is fantastic, and The Bohlin is staffed with seasoned wedding pros. They are amazing to work with, and we can’t recommend them highly enough.
