Ottavia and Lucas got married on a perfect day in May. Jaclyn, Andrew and I went along for the ride. They had us photograph their wedding and also invited the Bluecube for some reception fun. Everything happened at Five Bridge Inn, a really cool place in Rehoboth that has everything you need for a wedding in one place.

 

I got to hang out with the guys while Jaclyn spent some time with the girls for the getting ready. I always think it’s funny how different they dynamic is between the guys getting ready and the girls getting ready.

 

It’s awesome at weddings when you can really sense that there’s a lot of love from the guests for the couple, and that’s how their wedding was. Family and friends were excited about it all and it showed throughout the whole night. From the first time Ottavia, Lucas and I got together I knew they were going to be a cool couple to work with. I had done their engagement session in Providence and it started off in their apartment making pancakes for breakfast. Can’t go wrong there.

 

I really liked where we did their first look. Ottavia had a twelve mile runway to get down to Lucas while he patiently waited. The light was awesome because the sun was glaring off the light colored ground and giving us some nice bottom lighting. Everything worked out really well and it was great to be a part of it.
