Amanda and Kyle’s Roger Williams engagement shoot is a perfect example of what a little planning and some props can do. I’ve known Amanda’s mom for quite some time – she’s the owner of The Enchanted Florist, which any of you engaged couples out there looking for a florist should check out. I’ve been buddies with her son Matt for who knows how long and so I was really excited when Amanda asked if I would shoot hers and Kyle’s wedding.
I hadn’t met Kyle before the engagement session, but from the second I did I knew he was a genuinely nice guy and he was awesome to work with and hang out with. Gotta love good people. We met up at Roger William’s Park and there was a bicycle, a dog, and a classic Mercedes Benz. We went right to work since we picked the perfect time with the sun starting to drop over the horizon. Once we lost the sun completely we headed inside to the carousel to get some really awesome shots.
I think we got some pretty sweet images from this one. Their planning with props and outfits went a long way. This is a good one to learn from – having a casual outfit and then some more formal attire gives you an awesome variety in your engagement session. Looking forward to their wedding later this year!
