Blithewold Family Session
We met up with Laura and her sweet trio for a family session at Blithewold Mansion and Arboretum in Bristol, RI. In the full bloom of Summer, Blithewold was looking its absolute best. The gardens were overflowing with summer color and lush greenery. Laura, her husband, and their two adorable children spent the afternoon with us walking the paths and taking in the surroundings. We started the day in the Rose Garden, where the iconic stone Moongate is a centerpiece. Laura’s son and daughter had a blast exploring their surroundings, from the flowers to the pebble walkway. Each making a great backdrop for some sweet portraits of the kids. There is nothing better than capturing a child in their element. Some of our favorite captures of the day are when the kids are just being kids. Playing with rocks, smelling flowers, and running through the gardens and fields.
Make Way
Following the Rose Garden, we made our way across the perfectly manicured lawn of the Blithewold Mansion, down to the water and back again. Laura and her husband focused on each other and on the adventures of their children. We just followed along with a camera, capturing the candid interactions of a family at play. There were some truly special moments, set on a gorgeous Rhode Island backdrop. We were so happy to be invited to document Laura’s family session at Blithewold Mansion and Arboretum in Bristol, Rhode Island.
