Courtney and Ted come to you from their memorable engagement session down in Tiverton. It was the one that started super early in the morning, I almost ran out of gas getting there, and then Ted and I both ended up cliff jumping into the ocean. We then continued the session and capped things off by getting ice cream at 7AM. We keep things pretty interesting around here.
It has to be said that Courtney and Ted are full of class. They have been a total pleasure to work with throughout the whole process and by the time we got to their wedding it felt like we were guests rather than vendors at their Hope Club wedding.
Everything was at The Hope Club, including the ceremony and first look. Their relationship basically started at The Hope Club so they felt it was an appropriate place to have their wedding. The ceremony setup was unlike any other we’ve seen. I loved it. Couches and armchairs were mixed together with regular seating in a room with giant windows. It was the most cozy ceremony we’ve been to. Check it out in the photos.
Once the ceremony was over and we had some time to take photos the sky had opened up and started dumping serious rain on everything. Staying true to their adventurous ‘up for anything’ personalities, Courtney and Ted said they were game for heading outside with the bridal party for pictures. They found some umbrellas that The Hope Club keeps around and we made our way into the monsoon. I was really glad we did because the photos in the rain came out really cool. Get wet for a few minutes, have cool photos for life. We think it’s worth it. It was also worth spending ten minutes drying off lenses and the camera once we got back inside.
A huge congratulations to these two and we wish them all the best in their new marriage adventure together. Thank you so much for having us along for the ride!
