Happy Friday, friends! Today, we’re bringing we’ve got a special wedding for you! Diana and Doug are a special couple. We’ve had the honor of being a part of their proposal, engagement, and wedding. Matt and Kearsten spent the day with this sweet pair for their Regatta Place wedding.

 

From the bride:

Doug and I met freshman year at Johnson & Wales University, at Swonden Hall Cafeteria. He was one of my closest friends, after some time passed, junior year he became my boyfriend. We graduated and continued to date for the next 6 years. We did long distance for 3 and half of those years, but still remained deeply in love.

The day he asked me the most important question of my life, I felt that my heart grew twice its size, something I never thought it would be possible. He proposed at Prospect park in Providence with the most gorgeous ring I could have ever imagined. We were overlooking the skyline of Providence when he got down on one knee. Providence means so much to us, because it’s were we met, even though we’re both from Long Island, New York and our parents’ houses where we grew up in are only 30 min apart. I remember feeling all sorts of emotions, but above all I felt so lucky that he picked me, that I’m lucky enough to spend the rest of my life with this wonderful man. The best part was that he had Blueflash there to capture my pure joy, and the memories of my proposal! From there on we celebrated our upcoming future together in Newport.
