Douglas hooked up with us through Baxter’s Jewelry where he got the engagement ring for Diana. We’re partnered up with them so we can help document their client’s proposals which has been a lot of fun. He and I spoke on the phone and came up with a game plan to help surprise Diana for the big question.
Emily and I showed up to Prospect Park and did our best to look casual and inconspicuous so as to not blow the proposal for Douglas. We started shooting pretty heavily when we saw him go down on one knee and then gave them a few moments to themselves.
Once the dust settled a little bit we approached them and took some more intentional portraits (after introducing ourselves to Diana). We then left them to enjoy the rest of their day. Fast forward a bit and they came in to our studio and we had a great time going through their pictures and reliving the moment again. We hit it off and we’re looking forward to being a part of their wedding day, so keep your eyes open for that in the future! Take a look at how it all wend down…
