Emily and Scott | Roger Williams Casino Providence Wedding
Emily and Scott had a vintage inspired wedding at the Roger Williams Casino in Providence. Emily in her gorgeous ballgown wedding dress and diamond headband. Scott in his pinstripe suit pants and tuxedo jacket with coat tails. These two looked like they stepped out of the pages of a 1920’s glamour magazine. The nod to the era was complete with a vintage Rolls-Royce that the couple used for transportation. Rolls-Royce having a special place in Emily’s heart, her late grandparents were avid vintage car collectors and enthusiasts. Even starting Pelletier’s Automotive in Attleboro, MA. How they Met
We met in college, as Resident Advisors on a co-ed floor of a dorm at the University of New Hampshire. We started dating more seriously when I (Emily) was living in Colorado after college, and Scott was moving out to California. Soon after, I moved in with Scott in California and we’ve been exploring and adventuring out here since. After living together for 2.5 years we got our first dog together, Marlowe Bowie! Now, almost year later: the three of us are living happily ever after!
The Proposal Story
I knew it was coming (Scott had asked me what ring styles I liked and brought me to the jeweler to get sized) but he did an amazing job of still keeping details a surprise. He took me to several different spots that have been important to us inCalifornia, ending on our favorite beach. He waited until no one was around, so it was just us and popped the question while we sat in the sand and watched our dog frolic around and dig. It was perfect 🙂
