You may remember Gianna and Phin from their sweet fall engagement session. They decided to visit the church that they would be married at during the engagement session. It was an original and totally adorable idea. We’re definitely into it. For their wedding, Gianna and Phin chose New Year’s Eve at The Dorrance. Buckle up, and get ready for some awesome moments. Matt and Emily spent the holiday with this cool couple.

The Meet-Cute!

Gianna shared a bit with us about how the couple met:

“Phin and I met back in the fall of 2006 while we were both working at Ski Market in Warwick part time. We were friends for a few years before we started dating right before the store closed in 2010. We’re totally winter people, which is why we picked New Years Eve.”

The Proposal

Gianna was kind enough to share a little more of their story with us! Here’s the proposal story in her words:

“We actually started planning the wedding before we were officially engaged. We booked The Dorrance in early November but didn’t get engaged until Christmas morning. As much as I knew it was probably going to happen then, I still was so shocked and excited that it actually did happen! We were at my parent’s house Christmas morning opening presents. It was pretty low key but it was absolutely perfect!”
