Casey and Warren: this couple is warm, funny, and totally knows how to party. They picked a November date for their wedding. We’re seeing more couple look to late fall and winter weddings, and honestly, we love it. It’s never hot in November! It’s awesome. But back to today’s amazing couple…Casey and Warren were so excited, that it was truly contagious. Casey shared, “Finding out venue was a favorite moment from the wedding planning. We knew the second we walked into the main room and saw the view of the water and the Pell Bridge that we’d found the one we wanted.”
Emily spent the day photographing all the smiles, and we brought the Bluecube, too!
The Meet Cute
Casey shared a little bit about how the couple met:
“We met on OKCupid! He had a picture of himself with Dennis Rodman as his profile picture. When he messaged me, I asked him about it. He launched into a long message about basketball – it was really endearing! I like a guy who has something that he can be really passionate about. Our first date was supposed to just be brunch, but we ended up staying at the restaurant for six hours, just talking.”
The Proposal
Casey also shared a little bit of the couple’s proposal story:
“We’d been planning a trip to Glacier National Park in Montana, and (unknown to me) he was going to propose on that trip, somewhere beautiful and scenic. But he came down with food poisoning two nights before we left, and he was so ill that he forgot the ring at home! He ended up proposing to me on my birthday instead – it was just the two of us together, which was really intimate and special.”
