We first had the pleasure of meeting Janelle and Kyle when Kyle asked us to capture their proposal. We we so excited to be there on their Wedding Day as they exchanged vows and became husband and wife. Read Janelle’s version of the Proposal Story below!
High School Sweethearts
Janelle and Kyle have been together since they were about 15 years old. So needless to say, they were EXCITED to become Mr. and Mrs. as were all of their family and friends. Their wedding day was held on a gorgeous fall day at Linden Place in Bristol, RI. The leaves were just beginning to change colors but the spark of summer was still in the air. It was a perfect setting for their outdoor ceremony, followed by a formal reception in the carriage house of Linden Place.
The Proposal
From Janelle… We were getting ready for a night out the night before my birthday and as I came down the stairs, I heard my dogs barking on our back deck. I saw they had bandanas on that said “Will you marry our Daddy?” and my sister, and two of my closest friends (who later became my bridesmaids) were hiding behind Kyle’s truck taking pictures and also a professional photographer! (That was what my pups were barking at!!) After that we went out to Newport for the night with all of our friends and had a party the next day to celebrate with our families.
