Jenna was set on having snow for her winter engagement session with Kaz. It was getting to be the time of year that all the snow that the thirteen thousand snow storms had dumped on us was starting to actually clear. Where we’re based in Cranston, the snow was spotty at best. We decided to head up to Smithfield and do the session at the Smith Appleby House (the place where Tara and I got married). Even though Smithfield is only about fifteen miles north, the difference in snow cover was huge. There were no bare spots to be seen. Awesome.
We met up late morning and made our way around the property. Jenna popped her trunk and unveiled enough props to have three styled shoots. They also had a few different outfits. They were ready.
Armed with snow, props, and outfits we got to work and took the pictures. It was a pretty mild day (for winter) so we didn’t freeze to death while shooting. It was a good session and we got some cool stuff (see below). Looking forward to their wedding at the end of August, when it’ll be anything but cold!
