Castle Hill Inn Newport Wedding
We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day for a really happy couple. Here’s the story of how they met, as told by Joelle:
“Fernando is from The Amazon region of Peru and was working as a tour guide for an ecolodge in the middle of the jungle where my father and I stayed on vacation. Fernando was assigned to be our personal guide for the entire trip, and we immediately hit off. Of course, being the professional that he was, I had to make the first move if anything was ever going to happen between us. After nights of ping pong in the rec room and gin rummy on the porch, we knew there was something much more between us than either of us had experienced before. After exchanging contact info and returning the states, Fernando and I continued getting to know each and building our relationship long distance spending many nights video chatting, with him having to order multiple beers just to keep sitting in a cafe where the wifi connection was strong enough for video streaming in the middle of the rainforest. Finally, after visiting each other back and forth over a year and a half, Fernando got accepted to come to university in Chicago, and we’ve been here together ever since.”
