We started Kari and Kent’s engagement session in the woods under the canopy of autumn. Most exciting to me though was the waterfall beating through the little Connecticut forest turning it lush and alive.
After some time with just the two of them, proud parents had to let Sawyer crash the shoot – their golden doodle. He was definitely the most excited to have his picture taken.
When we’d all but exhausted the woods, Kari and Kent changed up for the night to give me a tour of their downtown area, taking pictures at all the spots at which they’ve been named regulars. I’ve always wanted to be a “regular” somewhere so needless to say I was greatly impressed.
It was such an easy time with the two of them, like being with friends, and funny because they will both make you laugh. I’m so excited to meet up again for their wedding this July… hopefully Sawyer included.
