Kayla and Mike win the award for the couple that lives the furthest from Rhode Island. These guys came in all the way from Australia (as did some of their guests) to get married at Bittersweet Farm up in Massachusetts. If you’re wondering why the globe crossing trip for their wedding, it’s because Kayla was originally from the MA area but has since moved to Australia.
I think they also hold the record as having the funniest bridal party, specifically the groomsmen. It was a genuine pleasure to hang out and watch them throughout the night have a great time and tell funny stories. Mike and his two groomsmen were lifelong friends and it was really cool to watch.
Everything was at Bittersweet except for the getting ready which took place at the Biltmore. We did some photos of the two of them at the Biltmore before the ceremony but without seeing each other. I liked that and thought the photos were pretty cool.
