Kumar was a guest at Andrea and Chris’s Providence Public Library wedding that we did last year. He emailed me afterwards and asked if we’d be able to take photos of him, his date, and another couple before their Coast Guard Ball at Oceancliff. We of course said we’d be happy to and set up the time and date. He wanted to shoot in Providence so we planned on doing outdoor shots in the Benefit Street area.
The day came and it was raining with no sign of letting up. It was time for plan B. I called a bunch of places in Providence to try to line something and came up against some walls at first. We finally settled on the Atheneum who was kind enough to let us use their space for a few minutes. From there we found some covered spots nearby and utilized those for all they were worth.
For having pretty bad weather we ended up getting some nice looking photos (I suppose I’m biased, but they were happy with them, too). Turns out the other couple included Andrea’s sister, so that was cool to see her again! Thanks to Emily for coming along to assist!
