Wedding photography tends to be a hit-and-run event. You do a whole lot of planning and you meet with your photographer, start to build a relationship, have an engagement session, then the big day comes and he or she shows up and spends the whole day with you at your wedding. The wedding ends, the photographer heads back home and edits their way through all of the images (see post-production for more on that process). Once the images get delivered, that’s pretty much the end of the line in most cases. Something felt very wrong about that to us. We had to do something about it.
Photographer for Life
The solution we came up with was something called “Photographer for Life”. It’s a type of membership program we developed as a perk for our brides and grooms. We figured that if you love what we do for you at your wedding, why should it end there? There are so many other things in life that happen that warrant beautiful photographs. You may have children, you’re going to have anniversaries, you might even renew your vows at some point. We wanted to encourage our brides and grooms to come back to where they know they had it good.
How it Works
It’s really simple. Anytime you want to have a session after your wedding, you are entitled to 20% off that session. It doesn’t expire, it doesn’t run out, it doesn’t have any limitations. OK, well, it has one – you can’t use the membership for wedding photography. You shouldn’t be doing that anyway, since the only way to become a Photographer for Life member is to get married! Just to clarify, this is not a one time use offer. This is something you have for life. Use it with your first baby and then use it again when they’re seniors in high school. Get it?
Why?
We’re trying to build relationships with our brides and grooms. It didn’t sit well with us that we would photograph such an intense and important part of your lives and then bid farewell for good. We want to be your photographer for life.
