I recently had the pleasure to photograph some friends of mine for their annual family photos. It’s always nice to do their photos, as Olga always puts a lot of thought and effort into the whole process. They always come with props, coordinated outfits, and excitement.
This time was no different. Fully equipped with a vintage bike, oversized paper flower, vintage cameras, and a whole lot of real flowers, we pulled up to Blithewold Mansion in Bristol, RI. Tara and Ezra came along, though that might have been a bit of a distraction for little Fiona. We made it work, anyways.
Blithewold turned out to be a great place to get some family photos and there was hardly anybody around that day which worked out pretty nicely. The overcast sky gave us some soft light to work with and I’m really happy with how the photos turned out. After the shoot we went and grabbed lunch together and then it was time to get the mini-humans home for a nap. Oh to be a toddler again…
