Beach Proposal
White cottages build a wall around the slender stretch of shore. Pathways thread through swaying sea grass, and an overcast sky left the beach nearly empty for Samantha and Jordan.
What I desperately love about Castle Hill is the way their landscape is broken into secrets. The lighthouse of course is well known, but it is found only by a walk through the woods. The tiny steps that lead to Grace Kelly beach narrowly descend to a jut in the cliffs where newlyweds can hide away for a moment with the sunset. And the beach behind the cottages is just the same.
On this little secret shoreline, amidst the rocks and surf, Jordan knelt down on one knee and asked Samantha to marry him. Ah, the romance. Their joy and energy after Samantha said yes were on the wind and in the ocean. The moment was perfect.
My favorite part of this whole shoot is Jordan’s fist in the air- grateful, triumphant bliss. We loved this shoot. The proposal, the couple, the location, the dog. All of it. Check out their life changing moment below!
