Newport Wedding
When you work in the wedding industry, your weekends are filled with other people’s love stories, the teams you see over and over hustling to make these weddings as monumental as they can be for the couple become your surrogate family. We were so honored when Sarah of Leila Ryan Events asked us to capture her own wedding day on video. We have worked side by side with the Leila Ryan Events team and we know just how awesome Sarah and Katie are to their clients and to their vendors. It was an absolute pleasure to be there as Sarah took off her planning hat and put on her wedding veil to become Mrs. Heaney.
Planned to Perfection
Being a Wedding Planner, of course Sarah had every inch of her wedding day planned to perfection. The couple hosted their wedding at a private residence, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a canopy of blooming summer trees. The ceremony took place under the shade of the trees followed by a gorgeously set reception under a pure white tent. The day was filled with personal details from the couple down to Dan’s favorite craft beers from Bissel Brothers and Maine Beer Co.
Sarah and Dan had their first look at the historic Elms mansion in Newport. Peeking around the lavish carriage house, Dan caught his first glimpse of his beautiful bride. They spent some time walking around the exquisite gardens of The Elms for formal photos with their bridal party before heading back to take their places at the ceremony.
A Night to remember
Sarah and Dan are naturally a fun loving couple, always laughing and joking together, or as Sarah says “We’re SUPER FREAKING FUN”. So it is no surprise their dance floor was packed all night with guests dancing their hearts out to The Sultans of Swing.
