I met up with Tara and Kevin at Roger Williams Park for their engagement session. Roger Williams is a frequently used spot for photography in Rhode Island so it’s always a challenge to make it a little bit different and unique for each couple. We don’t want all of our sessions to look the same, even if they’re in the same location.
With that said, Roger Williams Park requires a little extra effort to not have it look like every other session shot there because a lot of the spots are so iconic to Rhode Islanders. We tried to go off the beaten path a little bit but also hit some of the landmarks that everyone knows.
They brought their dogs along so they could get some photos with them. They also gave the open space at the park a run for its money. Tara and Kevin are getting married this October so we’re looking forward to photographing that and also bringing the Bluecube along for them! Highlights from the session below:
