Sometimes you’ve just got to go to New York City. Once in awhile it’s good to get that larger than life feeling injected into you. Sometimes it’s good to get a $150 parking ticket because you pumped the meter but realized afterwards that it didn’t matter because you were parked in a commercial zone. Well, maybe not that last one.
Emily, Dan, and myself headed out to the city for a little road trip fun. We left early in the morning because Emily had to make sure she got a chance to check out the Disney store. Dan and I had B&H Photo on our extremely short list of places to go. Basically there and a place that sells pizza. It doesn’t take much to make us all happy.
It was during our pre-shoot field trip that the ticket found it’s way onto my windshield. That’s all I’ll say about that.
Vanessa and Britt were awesome for their New York City engagement session. We stashed our car in a parking garage and then we Uber’d our way around with them (is that a verb?). We hit central park and Grand Central Station as our two main locations. It was really refreshing to shoot in a totally different place. Rhode Island is great, but it’s also small and after awhile you get pretty familiar with most of the places.
You can check out some highlights below from the shoot. Once it was over they were nice enough to take the three of us out to eat at one of their favorite spots in the city. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – we have the awesomest clients on the planet. Before we headed home they even invited us up to their super cool city apartment, gave us some snacks for the road, and let us check out the view from high up in the building.
Keep your eyes open for Vanessa and Britt’s wedding coming up soon!
