Vanessa and Shane had their ceremony at St. Mary’s Church in Cranston, RI and their reception at The Chapel Grille, also in Cranston. It was a morning affair which was an interesting change of pace for us. It had a calmer tone to it and a totally different vibe than a night wedding. Guests had brunch and there was no dancing afterwards.
They shared a first look at Vanessa’s house after the getting ready was over. From there we headed off to the ceremony and then to the restaurant for their Cranston wedding. The brunch was filled with food and speeches from family and friends. Things wrapped up with enough time to get home and have dinner with our own families, which is not something that usually happens on wedding days!
