Sullivan House Block Island Wedding
Amy and Nick were married at the Sullivan House on Block Island on a breezy September day. The old phrase, “Love, Laughter and Happily Ever After” was definitely a theme throughout their day. These two were so happy in love, their day was filled with giggles, inside jokes, and smiles ear to ear. It was an honor for us to be there to capture their wedding day with photo and through cinema.
SET THE STAGE
Amy and Nick both got ready in the beautiful Sullivan House on Block Island. Amy was surrounded by her girls for hair and makeup and Nick outside with his groomsmen. Amy wore a stunning, long flowing wedding gown that acted like a piece of art in the September breeze. Nick sported a soft white jacket with small accents of paisley patterned blue. Meanwhile, family and friends gathered on the Sullivan House lawn facing the serene backdrop of New Harbor. Amy and Nick’s wedding ceremony was filled with meaningful readings and even had a butterfly release to mark their new beginning as husband and wife.
LOVE OF SAND AND SEA
This Sullivan House Wedding included every perfect beachy detail, from a sea glass escort card display, to sailboats and driftwood centerpieces. Accents of blue and white were seen throughout the reception. The couple love to spend time on the water together, sailing and going to the beach, so this was the perfect representation of them. Amy and Nick opted to have their portraits taken on the beach, just the two of them. With the breeze blowing, the beautiful ocean backdrop, these two could not have been happier to be right there in that moment.
As the groom’s brother said in his toast, their circle is now complete. Thanks to Amy and Nick for inviting us to be a part of their Happily Ever After.
