Wedding at OceanCliff Newport
Today we have a sweet couple who shared their lovely wedding at OceanCliff Newport. October welcomed us with gorgeous weather. It was the perfect day for a seaside ceremony. The harbor was full of sailboats, and we caught the ethereal pink sunset. Be sure to check out all the details below.
Jillian shared the proposal story from her perspective:
“Tom is from Long Island. We go down there quite often in the summer. One Sunday morning before we left, Tom suggested we go take our dogs (Remy and Lola) for a walk at this trail that leads to the ocean… It was a beautiful day and we had a really nice walk- at the end when we got to the ocean, he said ‘Remy and Lola have something to show you.’ I bent down and they each had special tags on their collars, Remy’s said ‘Dad has a question to ask you’ and Lola’s was ‘We hope you say yes’. I turned around and he was on one knee holding the most beautiful ring I had ever seen! All of a sudden, his sister pops out of the bushes! She had been photographing the whole thing! My Mom and Grandmother also surprised us by coming to Long Island, and together with them, and Tom’s family we all had a wonderful celebratory dinner that night. It was perfect!”
Thanks so much for sharing the day with us, Jillian and Tom! We wish you all the happiness in the world together.
