Newport Engagement with Deanna and Eric

We ventured out along the shoreline of Newport with Deanna and Eric for their Engagement Session. Quiet in their demeanor, Deanna and Eric looked so peaceful next to the ocean embraced in each others arms. Dressed in cool blues and bright whites, the couple were the perfect compliment to their oceanside surroundings. Engagement sessions are some of our favorite shoots to capture, you can truly see the love and excitement these two have for each other.

Historic Cliff Walk

We started our day at the top of Cliff Walk and made our way down to the 40 Steps. It was an overcast September day, which is not great for tourists, but really great for us. Lead shooter Emily, Deanna and Eric had the entire Cliff Walk all to themselves, which is unusual for that time of year. Also, overcast days make the best lighting for photography, so we couldn’t have been happier. While Cliff Walk is a popular spot, we love finding new corners and hideaways to shoot in. Deanna and Eric are getting married in Walt Disney World, but they wanted their Engagement photos done here in Newport. A place that holds a special meaning in their hearts.
