Jones River Trading Post Wedding
We had a blast photographing Leanne and Craig’s wedding day! Not only were all of their locations gorgeous, but they were a joy to photograph all day. Leanne was the kind of person who made me want her for a best friend. Even on her wedding day in all her excitement, she still made a point to take care of all her bridesmaids, and even me. Then there’s Craig, who proved in our short time with him that day that he knew how to take care of Leanne while she took care of everyone else. The couple has an energy that you just want to be around.
We asked them how they met and Leanne said this: “Craig and I met at a bar at the end of our senior year of college at Keene State College in New Hampshire. After a long night of drinking, I barely remember meeting Craig! Apparently he was still interested because he asked around for where I would be the next night and showed up at a bonfire at my friend’s house. Craig jumped a fence with a backpack full of beers…typical New Hampshire college style…and then asked to sit on my lap! Of course I told him no! But if he wanted to sit in the chair, I would sit on his! The rest is history!”
Even their first moments were fun! Their wedding kept up with the care free good time they started with!
They got married at the Jones River Trading Post in Kingston, Massachusetts- a ridiculously awesome and unique venue. Catch a good look at the wooden boats and oars hanging from the ceiling and the waterfall in the yard. This place had the charm and classic feel of a Mark Twain novel, a dream to photograph.
