The Stone House Wedding

“This wedding is not the most important thin to Jon and I, being together is.” You all know that we love weddings around here. We really do. What we love even more is a couple that is in love. A couple that knows the ultimate goal of a wedding is the start of a life together. Not just a big party. Kate and Jon’s wedding at the Stone House was so thoughtful and centered around togetherness. Emily and Sarah photographed the big day. The bride shared a bit of their proposal story here:

“Jon totally surprised me. I really had no idea he was going to propose. We had take a weekend trip to Portsmouth, NH, taking a walk by the water, just talking and enjoying the view. We came to a stop at one point and when I turned to tell Jon something, he was on one knee holding a ring. I was so surprised, I actually thought he was joking at first! I am not often surprised and I could not believe he had planned this. My family knew about it for weeks.”
