Kati and James are an awesome couple that we recently just finished up their wedding for (should be hitting the blog in the semi-near future). Before we get to the wedding, I wanted to share some of their engagement photos.
We met up at Fox Point in Providence, RI and walked around the neighborhood near the Vartan Elementary School for a bit and then headed over the footbridge to shoot near the water. Once we had what we wanted, we got in the cars and drove over to the State House near the Providence Place Mall. James and Kati currently live in Texas so they wanted a little Rhode Island flavor in their photos. We figured the State House was pretty Rhode Island-y.
I had a great time hanging out with them and the session was a lot of fun! Plus, looking back on it now in January, it was also a lot warmer outside which I’m kind of missing right about now.
They had us create a big canvas out of one of their hand-holding photos and used it at their wedding for everybody to sign. It looked so awesome at the end of the night, and now it’s hanging on their wall in their Dallas home! So cool… OK, stay tuned for their wedding. For now, here’s some favorites from the engagement session!
