Katie and Jason | Atlantic Resort Newport Wedding
We have been waiting for Katie and Jason’s Atlantic Resort Newport Wedding alllllmost as long as they have 😉 We had the pleasure of meeting Katie and Jason last year for their Castle Hill engagement session. These two are the sweetest people to be around, so, so happy in love and just excited to start their lives together. Since that sunny engagement shoot, we have been looking forward to their Newport Wedding.
Their gorgeous seaside wedding was held at the Atlantic Resort in Newport. One of our favorite spots on Aquidneck Island to photograph. This unique venue offers a perfect outdoor ceremony spot, on a perfectly manicured lawn overlooking the Atlantic. A sweeping outdoor patio for cocktail hour and a beautifully renovated ballroom, all within a few minutes of historic downtown Newport and the breathtaking beaches that the island is famous for.
Dreams come true
Katie and Jason had the Wedding Day of their dreams. They kept things traditional and did not want to see each other before ceremony. Starting out the day with their first look being when their eyes met on the aisle. They kept their eyes on each other throughout the reception and closing out the night with a jam-packed dance floor full of their family and friends.
Something Blue
Katie and Jason embraced the nautical location of the Atlantic Resort and incorporated touches of navy blue throughout their day. From bridal party attire, down to the table number cards held in rope knots, it was a perfect nod to their Newport Wedding.
