Harbor Lights Warwick Wedding in the Autumn
Kristen and Stephen have known each other most of their lives, but it wasn’t until they re-connected through social media in their mid-twenties that the sparks flew! They caught up over drinks and they have been inseparable ever since. Emily and Fred photographed this Harbor Lights Warwick wedding.
The Proposal
“We were heading to dinner at the Hub in Boston for our anniversary. Steve was abnormally anxious about leaving early. While driving to Boston, he took a random exit and we drove aimlessly around. I remember getting aggravated with him for getting lost, but he was just trying to make sure we didn’t arrive too early. We decided to walk through the commons. As we were walking, a guy was playing “From The Ground Up “ by Dan and Shay. I had told Steve that I wanted this as our wedding song.”
“I didn’t hear the song at first and kept walking. Steve grabbed me to stop me. Once I heard the song , Steve hopped to a knee and took out the ring. We seemed to be surrounded by people with cameras. I was overwhelmed with emotions. We ended the night with a beautiful dinner at Top Of The Hub. He had a roses waiting on the table. I’ll never forget it.”
