Liz and Mike | Chase Farm, Lincoln, RI Engagement Shoot
Liz and Mike’s Chase Farm Lincoln Engagement shoot just makes us smile. You can’t help but fall in love with these two and their adorable dogs! Emily bundled up on a cold winter afternoon and met Liz and Mike at Chase Farm in Lincoln, RI. The duo and their pups wandered through the trail ways of the Farm, laughing, snuggling to keep warm, and chasing after their dogs.
How they Met
From Liz… Technically, we met for the first time at our mutual friends’ wedding: Deanna and George. But then months later, Deanna and George decided to set Mike and I up on a date. Excited to see where it would go, we agreed and decided to have a cup of coffee and met at Dave’s Coffee in Providence at 2pm one afternoon. We has such a great time talking that we didn’t notice that we were the only ones left and the barista was sweeping the floor. When asked if they were closing soon and he said it already closed but wanted to leave us alone until he was done. We talked for over 4 hours!
The Proposal Story
From Liz… Last October we were over Deanna and George’s home, with them, and another couple that are also our friends. We were all carving pumpkins together but Mike was off to one side working away on his. Mike had given Deanna and George had a head’s up about his plans and they asked for everyone to show off their pumpkins to the group. Mike showed his and it read “Will You” on the side facing me and when I walked around to see the back it said “Marry Me?” and when I turned back around to him he was on one knee with the ring.
How cute are these two?! I mean really… We can’t wait to capture their Wedding Day at Castle Hill in Newport. Check out their engagement shoot below!
