Michaela and PJ’s Providence G Providence Wedding was an Art Deco / F. Scott Fitzgerald, elegant soiree. One of our favorite things about the ballroom at the Providence G is that it can be transformed into any kind of event. Michaela and PJ embraced the 1920’s vibe and spread details from the era throughout their reception. With Michaela being in the Wedding Industry as an Event Manager for The Catering Gourmet, she has seen hundreds of weddings and knew she wanted hers to be different. Something special that truly represented her and PJ. The fun filled evening ended with a packed dance floor.

How it all began | The Proposal

From Michaela… We drove 3hrs from Rhode Island to New Hampshire for our 5th anniversary to visit the Ice Castles in New Hampshire. We were walking through, looking at the caves and structures and PJ stopped to asked one of the employees to take a photo of us. The attendant took, what I thought was, the picture and I started to walk away. PJ pulled my hand back and got down on one knee (meanwhile, the employee continued to take what was actually a video). I asked “What the f**k ( insert profanity here) are you doing??” ( Yes, it’s on video!) and he asked me to marry him. Still to this day, I don’t believe I actually said yes, I was too excited! Even though we drove 3hrs to get there and spent a total of 30 mins in the Ice Castle; I made PJ get back in the car and head back to Rhode Island immediately so we could go celebrate with our family! In short, I have no idea what the Ice Castles look like. The whole entire trip is a blur, but most importantly my favorite memory 🙂 :):)
