Michelle and Bill | Castle Hill Newport Proposal
On a beautiful sunny day we were on site to capture Michelle and Bill’s proposal at the Castle Hill Lighthouse in Newport. Dressed for dinner and a date night at Newport’s Castle Hill Inn, Michelle and Bill took a walk down the wooded path to the Lighthouse. Bill had the engagement ring in his pocket, just waiting for that perfect moment. The couple stopped to look out at the ocean and Bill took the opportunity to get down on one knee and proposed to Michelle.
She Said “Yes”
Excited with the proposal, Michelle hardly noticed that there was a photographer there to capture it all! We love these sweet candids, when the couple disappears into their own moment. The bright sun and cool ocean breeze made for the most romantic images from our afternoon with them. The backdrop of Castle Hill Lighthouse is always a favorite of ours to photograph. Set near the end of Ocean Drive it’s a classic Newport landmark. This lighthouse has seen the start of so many love stories. The lighthouse is tucked away down a forest covered trail which then opens up to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
We are so happy for Michelle and Bill and the start to their own story. It was an honor to be at Castle Hill Lighthouse to capture this moment for them. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter is for this happy couple.
