Castle Hill Inn Newport Wedding
Paige and Blake knew what they were doing. They perfectly balanced the intimacy of personal moments with the joy of the party.
To begin, Paige and Blake exchanged thoughtful gifts and cards in the morning. They took in each other’s calming words before stepping into the whirlwind. Their ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Church in Newport, where the church’s notable old wooden doors opened up to a new life for the pair. Later in the day, they read hand written vows to each other by the gorgeous Castle Hill Lighthouse. Just down the wooded path a party was beginning, but Paige and Blake were making promises to each other with no one but the ocean listening in. These are people who were sincerely cherishing their new marriage.
They also knew how to celebrate! Castle Hill, as always, was a dream. The pair sipped champagne on the lawn with their guests under the kind of sunny sky you pray shows up for your seaside wedding. To quote one of their signs, “The day a man makes me happier than a glass of champagne is the day I get married!” The happiness lasted through the night, as they danced in the sparkling tent. The party was wild in every sense, from the dance move to the donuts for dessert. And let’s not forget to acknowledge the ridiculously awesome white romper Paige changed into for dancing! The couple ran off at the end of the night in a tunnel of glow sticks, closing the memorable day in a blur of color and friends.
