Sweet Summer Wedding
Victoria and Chris’ Squantam Association Providence Wedding took place on the most gorgeous late August day. Greeted with bright skies and warm sun as the couple were married surrounded by family and friends. Victoria and Chris brought in the deep blues of the ocean surrounding the Squantam Association but kicked it up a notch for a glamorous, nod-to-nautical wedding.
Draped in soft neutrals, bold jewel tones, and sparkling crystals the couple and their wedding party were dressed to impress. The bride started her day in a luxurious beaded wedding gown and long flowing veil. Chris wore a classic navy blue tuxedo with black satin lapels and bow tie. After a beautiful ceremony at St. Thomas’ Church in Providence, the couple stopped in at the Botanical Gardens at Roger Williams. We love the incredible backdrop the lush tropical greenery provides here for formal photos. It was especially fun to use all of the greenery in comparison with the shades of pink and red of Victoria’s bridesmaids dresses.
Second ‘First Look’
After that, the couple changed for an outdoor second ‘first look’ on the Squantum Association coastline. Victoria wore a stunning, modern cut gown with bright blue heels. Similarly, Chris dressed to match, in a crisp white tuxedo jacket and blue pocket square. These two have serious bridal style, and really enjoyed the spotlight of their day.
Victoria & Chris’ love for each other and excitement to be husband and wife was written all over their faces, with sweet gazes and stolen kisses throughout the day. They incorporated personal touches into their wedding day, from bridal gifts, hand written notes, to treasured family heirlooms. All subtle reminders for their family and friends how much their day means to them, and how happy Chris and Victoria were to be surrounded by their love.
Above all, Chris, Victoria and their families were a joy to be around and we were honored to be a part of their Squantum Association Providence Wedding Day.
