Allanah and Mike | Oceancliff Newport Wedding
Allanah and Mike had a gorgeous, elegant Wedding at Oceancliff in Newport. Set against the backdrop of the Atlantic ocean and the Newport bridge. The outdoor ceremony took place on the grassy hilltop of Oceancliff. Full sweeping views of the surrounding ocean greeted guests as they waited for ceremony to start. Allanah dressed in a picturesque ballgown and Mike in a classic navy blue tuxedo. The bridal party in coordinating ensembles, with the bridesmaids in beautiful navy blue gowns with necklines similar to Allanah’s dress. Mike’s groomsmen looked very dapper in their crisp black tuxedos. This bridal party was truly dressed to impress. The personal bouquets were full of light ivory and barely pink florals. The perfect contrast for the deep colors of the attire.
Castle In the Sky
We love Oceancliff for the privacy and uniqueness the venue provides. For example, when you are at ceremony, you truly feel like you are the only group of people a top this incredible Newport vista. Immediately following ceremony, guests moved to an outdoor cocktail hour on the stone patio. Mike and Allanah wanted to be present with their guests during cocktail hour, so we did most of the bridal party portraits prior to ceremony. After that, as the golden October sun set behind the Newport bridge, Allanah, Mike and their guests moved inside to the beautifully decorated ballroom at Oceancliff. Guests were treated to live music and a packed dance floor to close out the night!
