Metacomet Golf Club Wedding

Marisa and Jeremy knew each other for many years, attending the same events and cookouts throughout their 20’s. It wasn’t until their 30’s that they reconnected online! Sometimes it just happens that way! This sweet couple planned a lovely wedding and even built the wedding arbor that they were married under together! Emily spent the day with them capturing all the amazing moments at this Metacomet Golf Club Wedding.

The Proposal

Marisa kindly shared a little bit about their sweet and low-key proposal with us. Here it is in her own words:

“Jeremy and I went to dinner after work to one of our favorite restaurants and had a really nice time. Then we went home to do what was our usual night time pass-time in the cold weather months: we were on a big Jeopardy kick. We watched a few episodes then I said I was going to bed. He caught me before I went upstairs by getting on one knee and proposing. He looked so nervous. It was very surreal, even though we had talked about marriage in the past. I said yes! It was done in a way very fitting of us- laid back and private after a great night of sharing some of our favorite things.”
